Game of Look Inside where everyone has an equal say

One key to our game’s success is the peer-to-peer approach. What do we mean by that?

In our game, there is no all-knowing expert handing down knowledge from above. Instead, all players discover, discuss and learn together, as equals.

Everyone brings their own experiences, thoughts and perspectives to the table. This creates a lively learning process built on understanding one another. The game offers prompts, makes room for different points of view and invites players to develop new perspectives on mental health together.

This approach has some remarkable benefits:

  • It breaks down hierarchies and creates an open atmosphere.
  • Players realise that others often share their challenges.
  • Participants discover that they have valuable knowledge of their own that can help others.
  • Discovering things together makes learning stick.
  • Mental health becomes a normal topic of conversation.

With our board game and this approach, we at mend-o are pursuing a bigger vision: a world where mental health is discussed and cared for as naturally as our physical health. Whether among friends, in the family or at work, let’s play, learn and grow together.
